As more and more Nike Sportswear installations pop up, we continue to see the Nike icon seeping through the world of art. In this Nike Sportswear Concept Space, located in Amsterdam, a wood theme is used throughout the storefront and exhibition. Yet again, ALIFE has created another collaboration, this time with Italian sunglasses manufacturer SUPER. The collaboration has produced four different sunglasses, one in blue, red, purple, and black. Each pair of sunglasses has matching lenses made by Carl Zeiss. Only 480 pairs of these custom made sunglasses will be available; 80 red, 80 blue, 80 purple, 240 black. The sunglasses will be available on August 23rd at all ALIFE locations and select ALIFE retailers.
If your in town, make sure to visit Niketown London to see James Jarvis’ newest instillation. Using a made up character similar to a wind runner bird, Jarvis has installed his style into the windows of the shop and on an 8-piece vinyl set inside. The fifth floor of NikeTown New York gets redone for the new Nike Sportswear collection.
Here is the complete look at the newest line from Reebok in collaboration with Alife; Alife for Reebok: Designed in NYC. This is the first series of possibly many more to come. DuPont technology is used in this line along with Teflon on the all-canvas uppers to provide a stain and water resistant canvas, which still allows breathability. These kicks are the ideal summer shoe. The line will release this Saturday, July 12th, at all Alife storefronts. Also releasing on July 12th will be exclusive t-shirts. Select retailers worldwide will receive the pack on Saturday, July 19th.
The extremely hyped and exclusive Nike Hyperdunk McFly 2015will releasing in New York on July 12th. For those of you who missed out on the original release at UNDFTD, Sweet Kicks is here to help you pick up your pair of these rare kicks. The McFly Hyperdunk is themed after Marty McFly, a character played by Michael J. Fox in the movie Back to the Future II. Here is a look at a new collection from Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM), a shop in New York. This collection is titled “New York City” and is obviously themed after New York City. The collection should be available now at DQM.
Recently, Yahoo! did a special in their news section called “Yahoo! Buzz” on the Nike Hyperdunk McFly’s. Yahoo! reported on the entire event, just as Sweet Kicks did. Here’s a little recall: McFly’s released at UNDFTD; Kobe Bryant shows up in Back to the Future car; 350 pairs were made; first ten people in line got the chance to meet Kobe Bryant.
